The Poshed up and the Glammed up-Ghana Legacy Awards

This years Ghana Legacy Awards which took place on Saturday 25th March 2017 was well attended and graced by a number of celebrities.

The all black tie event was hosted by the beautiful award winning actress Ama K. Abebrese and legendary comedian Kwaku Sintim Misa popularly known KSM.

Honorees of this years occasion included business magnate Sir Sam Jonah (Lifetime achievement award) for his impact on Ghanaian business and said “I have had more failures than successes…but what matters is not how many times you fall, but how many times you get up…”.

Anna Bossman (Head of anti-corruption unit of African Development Bank), Herman Chinery-Hesse (Tech Innovator), Lucy Quist (CEO of Airtel Ghana), Sir David Adjaye (Designer of new Smithsonian National Musuem of African-American History in Washington D.C) took home the Impact in Architecture Award.

Ozwald Boateng (Renowned men’s fashion designer) took the Impact in Fashion Award and followed with this statement “This is the first time I am being awarded in Ghana,” said Ozwald Boateng who has been celebrated internationally for his contributions in the fashion industry.

The program was attended by notable personalities and business leaders such as Archbishop Nichlas Duncan Williams accompanied by his wife Rosa Whitaker, CEO of Tullow Ghana Charles Darku, CEO of Stanbic bank Alhassan Andani, and many more.
